Hard Water - The Cycle
When
naturally soft water passes through layers of chalk or
limestone rock, it absorbs the minerals calcium and
magnesium, and becomes 'hard'. The more minerals absorbed
the harder the water.
Over 60% of
Britain suffers from hard water problems, because although
water is treated before it reaches our taps, the hard
minerals remain, causing scale and scum. |
