Aqualyze Rapid - For Soft Water Areas. This ergonomically designed drinking system incorporates a rapid change cartridge feature and has the added benefit of DIY installation. Making it an all round user friendly option. The Rapid is a smart, compact system, with intergral bracket and few components, desgined to take up minimal under sink space whilst still being robust and versatile. The rapid comes with a faucet ready to dispense filtered drinking water. Because the water varies around the country, the Rapid has a choice of three options : one for all round applications (designed all to tackle cryptosporidium, cysts and lead and the second for soft water areas and the other for hard water areas. All systems remove bad taste, odour, chlorine with the option for hard water areas having built in scale control. Installation. The Rapid comes with a head and cartridge which fits in to, this is installed on the inlet pipework and connected to a faucet. Again an ideal system for the DIY enthusiast. Installation requires shutting off of the water supply and cutting into pipes. The system comes with step by step instructions. Replacement Filters The filter cartridge in this system requires replacing at regular intervals. Cartridges are fitted by removing the cartridge in a twist lock movement, it couldn’t be simpler and inserting the new cartridges simply. Cartridges can be purchased from Lakeside and we can either post them on a scheduled basis or alternatively we offer a filter change service whereby an engineer would visit to change the filter.
